Purchasing Analyst Role

This role involves working as part of a team to manage the purchase process for various hotel departments.

Responsibilities:
  • Receive purchase requisitions from different departments and request prices from suppliers.
  • Review quotations and follow up on purchase orders to ensure timely delivery.
  • Maintain direct contact with suppliers to negotiate prices and quality.
  • Assist the Purchasing Coordinator in preparing orders and their sequences.
  • Conduct pre-set purchase orders, including market lists.
  • Check daily reports on receipt of goods and report any discrepancies.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree or studying in a related field.
  • Basic English language skills.
  • Familiarity with accounting principles.
  • Experience in purchasing, preferably in the hospitality industry.
  • Ability to analyze and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Sense of organization and planning.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills.
  • Teamwork and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in computer software, including Microsoft Office.
  • Proactive approach to meeting deadlines and objectives.
