Chief Data Strategist

We are seeking a seasoned Chief Data Strategist to lead our data strategy and execution, driving product success through accuracy, client value, and efficiency.

This role involves owning challenging analytical work, guiding a team of data analysts, and implementing scalable solutions. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, experience in data analytics, forecasting, or business intelligence, and proficiency in programming languages such as SQL, Python, or Pyspark.

The successful candidate will be able to work effectively with stakeholders across technical and non-technical teams, approach complex problems logically, and implement efficient data pipelines and workflows.

• Owning data strategy and execution for a portfolio of high-impact data products.
• Setting quality standards and coaching the team to do their best work.
• Working with massive amounts of data to answer investor questions about sectors and datasets.
• Tackling complex data problems using analytical skills to optimize methodologies and solve data-related issues.
• Driving standardization, simplification, and improvements to data pipelines and workflows to minimize risk and maximize efficiency and value.
• Partnering cross-functionally with Research and Engineering to uncover and execute on opportunities to drive customer value and optimize processes and pipelines.

• 5+ years of experience in data analytics, forecasting, or business intelligence, including 1-2 years in a management or lead capacity.
• 3+ years of experience working with SQL, Python, Pyspark, or other programming languages to explore and transform large datasets.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work with stakeholders across technical and non-technical teams.
• Approach complex problems logically and decisively, implementing efficient solutions.
