Senior Communications Strategist

Overview of the Role

This is a senior strategic communication professional responsible for leading comprehensive communications strategies for Prime Video and Amazon MGM Studios in Brazil.

The ideal candidate will be an experienced communications leader who can make high-judgment decisions at speed, manage independently, and lead teams effectively.

Main Responsibilities
  • Lead communications strategies for Prime Video and Amazon MGM Studios in Brazil
  • Serve as strategic advisor to senior business leaders, providing counsel on communications and business decisions
  • Drive the strategic narrative for corporate initiatives, content releases, and product innovation narratives
Requirements and Qualifications
  • 15+ years of communications experience, with significant experience in entertainment, media, or technology sectors
  • Bachelor's degree in communications, public relations, or a related field
  • Experience leading communications campaigns in Brazil
  • A network of media and industry contacts
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in both English and Portuguese
  • Crisis management experience
  • People management experience
