Dialysis Technician

This is a dialysis technician position where you will provide patient care and support during hemodialysis treatments. You will work closely with the healthcare team to ensure patients receive safe and effective treatment.

• Assist patients with daily living activities and provide emotional support during treatment.
• Monitor patients' vital signs and report any changes or concerns to the nurse supervisor.
• Perform vascular access evaluation, cannulation, and administration of heparin as delegated.
• Initiate and monitor dialysis treatment according to prescribed orders.
• Conduct machine safety checks and report any issues to the nurse supervisor.
• Document patient information and treatment parameters accurately and timely.

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Completion of a dialysis technician training program or certification in nephrology technology.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds and stand for long periods.
• Effective communication and teamwork skills.
• Knowledge of hemodialysis procedures and equipment.
