We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to join our team as an accessibility professional. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that our products and services are accessible to everyone, including users with disabilities.
- Conduct thorough evaluations of our products and services to identify and resolve accessibility issues, develop best practices, and ensure compliance with accessibility policies, standards, and laws.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve accessibility, including creating training programs, updating technical reference materials, and participating in process improvement initiatives.
- Maintain accurate records of quality and productivity metrics, and provide regular reports to stakeholders.
- Serve as an advocate for users with disabilities and promote a culture of accessibility within the organization.
To be considered for this role, candidates must possess:
- A bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- At least one year of experience in accessibility testing.
- Familiarity with assistive technology and accessibility checking tools.
The following qualifications are highly desirable:
- Demonstrated knowledge of digital accessibility and disability inclusion best practices.
- Experience developing digital products that comply with accessibility standards.
- Knowledge of computer programming languages or scripting skills.
- Ability to communicate effectively in English.
