Position Overview:
The Lead Cybersecurity Solutions Architect will leverage a data-driven and risk-focused approach to enhance governance and solution development in collaboration with technology and software engineering teams, including key product stakeholders. This initiative aims to mitigate software engineering risks across various products and platforms, promoting the integration of security services into the development and delivery processes. By fostering a DevSecOps culture and implementing a security champions program, the role will drive accountability in addressing cyber risks associated with software development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Establish a comprehensive enterprise software security program in partnership with stakeholders.
- Develop and manage key performance indicators (KPIs) for the secure software engineering initiative.
- Create an enterprise strategy and architectural roadmap for multi-cloud environments.
- Define enterprise requirements for secure engineering aligned with policies and standards.
- Integrate security services and tools within development pipelines and DevSecOps frameworks.
- Promote the adoption of secure engineering practices across the organization.
- Align security requirements with established cybersecurity frameworks such as NIST, Hitrust, and CSF.
- Establish a network of security champions to foster broader adoption and support within the organization.
Collaboration with Application Teams:
- Drive the development and adoption of standardized CI/CD pipelines with Just-In-Time (JIT) assurance.
- Publish best practices to encourage the integration of DevSecOps solutions.
Education and Engagement:
- Act as a transformation leader in promoting modern security engineering principles.
- Conduct design reviews to identify and rectify security architecture vulnerabilities.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in delivering secure development programs and implementing DevSecOps in large organizations.
- At least 5 years of experience in integrating security development services into CI/CD pipelines.
- Strong understanding of exploitation techniques and familiarity with the Mitre ATT&CK framework.
Additional Experience:
- 3 years of experience with:
- Source code IDE and CI/CD scanning tools.
- Infrastructure as Code (IaC) methodologies.
- Static and dynamic testing tools.
- Secure code repositories and advanced security services.
Education:
- College degree or 5 years of experience as a security engineer, or 7 years as an enterprise security architect in relevant fields.
- Certifications in DevSecOps and secure software engineering.
- Cloud certifications for OCI, AWS, or Azure (Azure preferred).
Language Proficiency:
Fluency in English (both written and spoken) is required.
