Role Overview

We are seeking a seasoned professional to assume the position of Director – Fund Operations, overseeing the operational and regulatory aspects of our fund services business. This role entails ensuring compliance with relevant statutory, regulatory, and contractual obligations while driving commercial growth.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in fund administration, leading teams, managing clients, and growing business. They should possess strong leadership, analytical, and client-facing skills, with hands-on experience in fund structuring, investor services, and fund directorships.

Key Responsibilities
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for fund administration clients, fostering strong relationships and providing expert guidance on structuring, fund operations, and regulatory compliance.
  • Act as a technical reference to clients, sales teams, and other offices on fund structuring and operations.
  • Oversee the launch, ongoing administration, and regulatory compliance of a portfolio of funds, ensuring accuracy of NAV calculations, financial reporting, fund transactions, shareholder services, and compliance monitoring.
  • Collaborate with internal accounting teams to ensure accurate and timely delivery of services.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree minimum; 15+ years' experience in the investment fund industry, ideally with private equity, real estate, or fund administration.
  • Solid technical expertise in fund accounting (IFRS, US GAAP), NAV calculations, capital calls, tax structures, and audit processes.
  • Deep understanding of both UCITS and alternative investment funds.
  • Proven success in leading teams, managing clients, and growing business.
  • Commercially driven, proactive, results-focused.
  • Fluent in English (other languages an asset).
