Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement operational plans to ensure efficient execution of well operations programs.
  • Lead the way in promoting a safe working environment by enforcing best practices at the well site, ensuring adherence to policies and regulatory requirements.

The Operations Coordinator oversees the conduct of well operations while maintaining safety standards, adhering to approved plans, and complying with applicable procedures. The role requires strategic leadership in organizing daily meetings with stakeholders and third-party representatives to discuss operational strategies.

  • Organize regular team meetings to review progress, identify areas for improvement, and adjust operational strategies as needed.
  • Coordinate logistics and resource allocation to ensure timely completion of tasks.
  • Review equipment and services provided to guarantee alignment with contractual agreements.
  • Manage inventory levels, monitor consumption patterns, and negotiate supply contracts with vendors.
  • Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to prevent control issues, stuck pipes, and other operational hazards.
  • Implement risk management protocols, execute change controls, and enforce compliance with company standards.
  • Prepare detailed procedural guidelines for critical operations and associated emergency response plans.
  • Generate daily activity reports, track expenses, and manage invoices.
  • Maintain effective communication channels with stakeholders, ensuring transparency and informing service providers of necessary information.
  • Conduct technical and operational assessments to optimize well performance.
  • Collaborate with the project team to enhance operational efficiency and introduce program improvements.
  • Investigate operational issues and provide support during incidents, changes, and recovery processes.

Requirements:

  • Hold a bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
  • Experience in supervising directional drilling operations is essential.
  • Prior knowledge of fluids operations or engineering is beneficial.
  • Fluency in English and Portuguese languages.
  • Valid documentation to work in Brazil.
