Cash Handling Specialist

As a skilled cash handling professional, you will be responsible for accurately recording sales and following internal procedures for managing cash, checks, tickets, cards, and documents. This role requires attention to detail and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Key responsibilities include:

• Recording sales accurately and efficiently
• FOLLOWING internal procedures for handling cash, checks, tickets, cards, and documents
• Maintaining a clean and organized checkout area
• Closing the cash register at the end of your shift in coordination with the finance department
• Overseeing packaging, plastic bag replenishment, and organization of carts and baskets by the packer
• Monitoring the area near the cash register for damages and reporting any issues to the cleaning staff when necessary
• Weighing products from the produce, bakery, and butcher sections using the cash register scale and checking product codes
