Cloud Architect – Software Engineer

About the Role

Seeking an experienced Cloud Architect to lead application development, deployment, and optimization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead migration of existing Elixir/Phoenix-based application into a modern React + stack.
  • Develop scalable front-end applications using JavaScript frameworks.
  • Design robust backend services using Node.js (Express, Nest, or equivalent framework).
  • Integrate with AI services such as OpenAI, Claude, or Gemini for advanced product capabilities.
  • Deploy applications using Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and manage infrastructure (CI/CD, hosting, environment setup).
  • Work with both SQL and NoSQL databases, including PostgreSQL and Firestore.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure best practices in full-stack architecture and deployment.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Proficient in cloud-based deployment and AI integration.
  • Experience with JavaScript frameworks, Node.js, and Express.
  • Strong understanding of cloud-based technologies and infrastructure management.
  • Familiarity with PostgreSQL and document-based databases (e.g., Firestore).
  • Ability to handle deployments, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud hosting.
