Electrical Maintenance Technician

This is a key role for an individual to carry out mechanical, pneumatic maintenance tasks and some basic electrical duties on various equipment. The goal is to maintain safe operations while meeting production targets and quality standards.

  • The candidate must be able to identify problems by reading schematics/prints and make the necessary repairs.
  • Troubleshoot and adjust or repair ancillary equipment like blowers, bulb pullers, heaters.
  • Carry out changeovers and setups on vision systems, making minor adjustments as required.
  • Mix and dispose of ink according to established safety and QA guidelines.
  • Carry out oil changes and dispose of used oil in accordance with established procedures.
  • Rebuild or retrofit machines or machine components as per specifications.
  • Install, replace or decommission equipment as needed.
  • Perform validations as necessary for equipment.
  • Work with the training department to train new mechanics on machine repair, setup and related plant procedures.

Additional responsibilities include maintaining confidentiality, conserving and integrity of equipment and tools, and ensuring workplace safety.

Requirements:
  • A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
  • No minimum work experience is required.
