At FullStack Labs, we are looking for a skilled AWS/Kubernetes DevOps Engineer to work with our U.S. clients on flexible, project-based DevOps projects remotely in Latin America.

Job Summary

This role involves working closely with client teams and designers daily, supporting AWS/Kubernetes-based DevOps solutions including CI/CD pipelines and cloud resource management.

As an ideal candidate, you will have 5+ years of professional experience as a DevOps Engineer, advanced English skills, and a strong Linux systems and tooling background.

Key Responsibilities
  • Integrate into client teams and collaborate daily with designers and engineers.
  • Support the implementation of AWS/Kubernetes-based DevOps solutions, including CI/CD pipelines and cloud resource management.
  • Work collaboratively in a distributed Agile environment to meet project goals and timelines.
Required Qualifications
  • Professional experience: At least 5 years as a DevOps Engineer.
  • Language skills: Advanced English required.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree (four-year college degree) is required.
  • Technical skills:
    • Linux systems and tooling expertise.
    • Experience with container technologies, specifically Docker and Kubernetes.
    • AWS and/or GCP experience is preferred, with a focus on AWS.
    • Knowledge of cloud orchestration frameworks, including Terraform and Kubernetes.
    • Proficiency in Python or Bash scripting.
    • CI/CD and software development lifecycle experience.
    • Networking knowledge: TCP/IP, UDP, DNS, HTTP, TLS, and load balancing.
    • Distributed message buses, such as Kafka and Confluent.
