Regional Community Liaison Position

Job Description:

The ideal candidate will support the implementation of strategic communication plans and community relations in regional operations, specifically in cities near landfills. This involves supporting internal, external, marketing, and social communication actions.

• Plan, develop, and execute integrated communication actions and campaigns that align with company goals and objectives.

• Monitor social and environmental campaigns and actions to ensure they meet the required standards and impact.

• Engage and liaise with local leaders to address social demands and build strong relationships within the community.

• Work in partnership with Social Workers to engage with NGOs and community leaders, fostering a collaborative environment.

• Assist in managing internal communication channels to ensure seamless information exchange and minimize potential issues.

• Follow up on relationship-building and content management with local press to maintain positive media coverage.

• C coordinate crisis and conflict management in collaboration with headquarters, ensuring effective response and resolution.

• Coordinate with Marketing teams on regional topics to align strategies and achieve business objectives.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Degree in journalism, public relations, advertising, or related fields, demonstrating a solid understanding of communication principles.

• Experience in community communication, project management, and engagement with community leaders, showcasing ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.

• Intermediate Spanish and basic English skills, allowing for effective communication across languages and cultures.

• Creative writing and storytelling skills, enabling the candidate to craft compelling narratives and messages.
