Job Title: Technical Architect

We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Architect to join our team at Salesforce, Inc. As a Technical Architect, you will be responsible for designing and implementing sophisticated Salesforce solutions for our customers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with customers to define requirements, deliverables, and set expectations.
  • Translate business requirements into well-architected solutions that leverage the Salesforce platform.
  • Lead technical design sessions and architect and document technical solutions aligned with client business objectives.
  • Provide oversight and governance of Salesforce projects and lead all aspects of less experienced team members.
  • Follow and help define coding standards and lead code reviews during projects to ensure quality and appropriate design patterns are followed.
  • Lead the Release Management function of large-scale implementations, data migrations, Salesforce environment management, and deployments.
Requirements:
  • Expert-level understanding of the Salesforce product suite.
  • Understanding of systems architecture and ability to design scalable performance-driven solutions.
  • Understanding of key design and integration patterns and large data volume limitations.
  • Understanding of data sharing and visibility considerations and how these play into platform architecture.
  • Familiarity with platform authentication patterns (SAML, SSO, OAuth).
  • Knowledge of data integration tools and experience integrating Salesforce with different business systems.
  • Solid understanding of environment management, release management, code versioning best practices, and deployment methodologies.
  • Experience with platform security capabilities (TLS, SSL).
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Salesforce Industries Platform Experience.
  • TM Forum knowledge or experience.
  • Professional Services or consulting experience in customer-facing environments.
  • Application Development experience.
  • Agile project methodology experience.
