We are seeking a skilled professional to contribute to the development of user-facing features in our Android application.
Responsibilities:- Develop Pinner-facing features within the Pinterest Android application, from requirements gathering to implementation.
- Collaborate with product, design, and backend teams to deliver end-to-end functionality.
- Apply automated testing to ensure technical quality and maintainability of features.
- Conduct and analyze A/B experiments to validate product launches.
- Take ownership of components and features, ensuring reliability and scalability.
- Stay current with emerging technologies and incorporate relevant advancements into development practices.
- Strong understanding of Android development and best practices in Kotlin and/or Java.
- Minimum of 3 years of professional experience in Android application development, building consumer or business-facing products.
- Proven ability to write reliable, maintainable, and reusable code.
- Experience with unit testing and integration testing.
- Hands-on experience designing, launching, and evaluating A/B experiments.
- Ability to adapt to new technologies and integrate them effectively into development workflows.
