About the Job Opportunity

This is a challenging and rewarding role that plays a significant part in promoting renewable energies, particularly renewable gas, in the transition to a sustainable energy future.

  • Managing complex technical challenges, project responsibilities, and relationships with clients and partners to ensure successful project execution and professional growth.
  • Developing and executing project scope, budget, and schedule from FEED through project delivery and site construction, while ensuring adherence to timeline, cost, quality, and safety objectives.
  • Ensuring compliance with local, national, and industry regulations and standards by managing all applicable regulatory and permitting tasks, including drafting and tracking requests for authorization.
  • Procuring local equipment, supplies, and services necessary for delivering the project within budget and schedule, and assisting the project team in France with procurement made in France, while ensuring engineering and process documents comply with local regulations and requirements.
  • Documenting project information (internal and external), including procurement details and scheduling progress documentation.
  • Managing subcontractors including engineers, equipment manufacturers, and site contractors, including requesting quotes, overseeing work to ensure adherence to the project plan, budget, and quality standards, and tracking change requests.
  • Providing technical support to the Business Development team regarding potential projects (site visits).
  • Managing civil, pre-commissioning, and commissioning activities: coordinating site construction in line with the schedule, managing site co-activity safely, ensuring subcontracting contracts are properly implemented, involving other departments, and participating in pre-commissioning and commissioning.
  • Ensuring a smooth handover of new projects to the facility operations team.
  • Supporting ongoing operations via technical troubleshooting and system checks of WAGABOX units as needed.
  • Maintaining a continuous focus on safety and process optimization throughout all phases, suggesting improvements and taking action as necessary.

Requirements:

  • Experience in Project Management or related field
  • Strong understanding of local, national, and industry regulations
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to manage complex technical challenges
