The Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) plays a pivotal role in driving business success by aligning HR strategies with organizational objectives. Key Responsibilities- Act as a trusted advisor to managers, providing expert guidance on people-related solutions across the employee lifecycle.
- Develop and implement People & Culture strategies that align with global objectives, fostering a culture of excellence and innovation.
- Maintain in-depth knowledge of the business and its products/services, ensuring a deep understanding of customer needs and market trends.
- Support managers in succession planning, talent management, and retention strategies, driving business growth through effective people management.
- Partner with cross-functional teams to ensure P&C processes align with global standards, while adapting to local business needs and regulatory requirements.
- Ensure adherence to global P&C procedures and local regulations, promoting a culture of compliance and integrity.
- Manage employment laws, employee relations issues, and workplace investigations, maintaining a fair and respectful work environment.
- Engage with employees to identify trends, recommend improvements in engagement and retention, and drive change initiatives that enhance the employee experience.
- 3+ years of HR experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or a related field.
- Knowledge of HR management methods, tools, and key laws.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to interact with all levels of personnel.
- Problem-solving and critical thinking skills, with the ability to analyze data for business decisions.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality with sensitive information.
- Strong organization and time management skills for multitasking in a fast-paced environment.
- Relevant oil and gas industry experience preferred.
The HRBP will spend 95% of their time in an office environment, with occasional exposure to the shop or field as required. This may involve potential hazards such as noise, outdoor temperature extremes, chemicals, pressure testing, heavy lift operations, and shop/field traffic.
Physical DemandsThe office environment requires sitting, operating a computer, walking, and some lifting. The shop and/or field environment may require lifting, walking, stooping, bending, and some climbing.
