Automotive Technician Job Description

We are seeking an experienced automotive technician to join our team as a key member of our engineering department. Your primary responsibilities will include maintaining and repairing vehicles to ensure they are safe, efficient, and reliable.

Key Responsibilities:

• Inspect and diagnose vehicle problems using advanced diagnostic tools and techniques
• Perform routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes and tire rotations to prevent wear and tear on vehicles
• Repair and replace faulty components, including brakes, suspension systems, and electrical systems
• Conduct quality control checks on repaired vehicles to ensure they meet safety and performance standards

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary education in automotive repair preferred
• Minimum 2 years experience in automotive repair, with a strong focus on mechanical systems and tools
• Strong knowledge of automotive systems, including engine, transmission, brake, and suspension systems
• Ability to work efficiently and effectively in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple projects simultaneously
