Key Role: Software Field Application Engineer

About the Position:

This position offers an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Software Field Application Engineer. As a key technical liaison between customers and Quectel, you will deliver exceptional pre-sales and post-sales support.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Technical Support: Provide expert technical support for our entire product portfolio, with a primary focus on Linux and Android systems.
  • Customer Training: Deliver comprehensive customer training on our wireless modules and development tools.
  • On-Site Support: Travel extensively across Latin America to provide quick responses to customer technical enquiries and conduct on-site product presentations and training.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent: In Electronic Engineering, Computer Science, Automation, Electronics & Communication, or other IT-related fields.
  • 3-7 Years of Experience: In embedded systems, IoT solutions, or telecommunications.
  • Technical Knowledge: Deep understanding of Android, Linux, and other embedded programming languages, as well as cellular technologies (5G, LTE/LTE-A, UMTS/HSPA, GSM/GPRS, GNSS).
  • Language Skills: Proficiency in Portuguese and English, with Spanish being an asset.

This role requires delivering seamless integration of our modules into customer applications, developing demo applications, and supporting business growth through strong technical engagement.
