The British Embassy in Brazil is seeking a Head of Export Finance to be based in Rio de Janeiro.

About the Position
  • Promote export finance capabilities and develop opportunities in key markets.
  • Build strategic relationships and partnerships with stakeholders to drive export growth through finance.
  • Collaborate with regional teams to coordinate efforts and report to London headquarters.
Key Responsibilities
  1. Foster awareness of export support capabilities and raise the profile of the organization regionally through engagement with local business communities, government bodies, and stakeholder organizations.
  2. Develop and implement marketing strategies that effectively communicate messages to target audiences.
  3. Design and execute promotional activities that educate the local business community on export products and services.
  4. Enhance the knowledge base within the local trade team.
  5. Develop market insight by analyzing public and private sector organizations, including their strategic business planning and development objectives.
  6. Provide expert advice to local trade teams on export finance matters and integrate UKEF objectives into priority campaigns.
About UK Export Finance

UK Export Finance (UKEF) is the UK's export credit agency, operating in partnership with the Department for International Trade. Its mission is to ensure that no viable UK export fails for lack of finance or insurance while maintaining financial sustainability.
