Offshore Boiler Technician Job

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Boiler Technician to join our team in an offshore opportunity. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in maintaining and operating boiler systems, as well as ensuring the overall safety and efficiency of the equipment.
The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting in the operation and maintenance of all machinery and auxiliary equipment connected with the operations of the engine room systems. This includes:
- Assisting in the operation and maintenance of all machinery and auxiliary equipment connected with the operations of the engine room systems.
- Ensuring the safe and efficient operation of the steam system.
- Inspecting and maintaining all equipment of the steam system in good condition to guarantee its efficiency and safety.
- Performing regular checks on water tanks, fuel oil, and other tanks ullages and quantity as defined by the Maintenance Superintendent or when requested.
- Assisting during internal transfer of fuel oil and bunkering operations.
- Performing water analysis and adjusting chemicals to maintain quality of operation.
- Auxiliating in all operations of the ship's boilers and equipment associates.
To be considered for this role, you will need to have:
- A strong background in maintaining and operating boiler systems.
- Previous experience in a similar position is preferred.
- Formal training in mechanical engineering or a related field is required.
- Valid certifications in safety procedures and regulations.
