E-Commerce Data Analyst Job

Key Responsibilities:
  • Analyze e-commerce overseas operation strategy including Merchant Strategy, Creator Strategy, etc;
  • Describe business situations, explain fluctuations in business, and provide valuable suggestions with reports;
  • Design monitoring systems independently to reflect any business changes;
  • Collaborate with Ops teams to set strategies; e.g. finding potential creators, measuring LTV of users, figuring out merchant growth strategies, etc;
  • Review analytical assessments from local operation teams in several overseas markets, support operational effects, and give follow-up optimization suggestions;
  • Collaborate with PM/Ops/R&D teams, promote implementation of optimization schemes, and contribute to actual improvements and business growth.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Bachelor degree or above, major in mathematics, statistics, computer science preferred; or major in science or engineering, or engaged in data statistics, analysis, modeling related working areas after graduation;
  • Proficient in SQL and Tableau, familiar with Python or R for data analysis;
  • At least 3 years of working experience in data analysis, and good business sense in e-commerce;
  • Overseas working experience or analytical experience preferred;
  • Able to complete English reports and communicate with global staff independently;
  • Strong learning ability and curiosity, familiar with starting new businesses, able to lead small project teams to support business;
  • Ability to work under pressure, courage to overcome difficulties, and accept challenges.
