About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Credit Analysis and Infrastructure Finance Professional to join our team at Moody's Investors Service. As an Associate/ML - Corporate and Infrastructure Specialist, you will play a critical role in providing credit analysis and research support to our rating teams.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform preliminary credit analysis to support ratings, research, and analytical outreach, following mentorship provided by team lead.
  • Conduct quantitative and qualitative assessments of financial documents, asset performance, and economic/market data.
  • Prepare financial spreadsheets and charts, analyze data, build and update financial models and analytical tools, and write analytical commentary in accordance with Moody's methodologies.
  • Identify trends in data and apply judgment to form well-thought-out credit conclusions.
  • Develop a solid understanding of Moody's Local methodologies and apply them to credit analysis.
  • Support credit monitoring/surveillance of issuers by preparing data for surveillance, periodically updating preliminary components of analysis, and initiating/bringing up deeper credit reviews when vital.
  • Perform routine administrative and other ad hoc credit-related tasks as advised by direct supervisor.
  • Work as a team with other Associates and Analysts under overall supervision of the direct manager.
  • Participate in external meetings with issuers, financial advisors, and other intermediaries.
Requirements
  • Minimum undergraduate/first level degree in economics, accounting, engineering, business administration, statistics, actuarial science, or similar.
  • Preferably 1-2 years of validated experience (including internship).
  • Knowledge of MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Proven English, spoken, and written communication skills.
  • Interpersonal skills.
  • Python programming & Visual Basic for Applications knowledge is a plus.
  • Ability to adapt to a changing environment and prioritize tasks accordingly.
