Job Overview

The Senior Oracle DBA Analyst will play a pivotal role in the global Oracle team, supporting, optimizing, and leading database infrastructure initiatives in alignment with high standards for performance, security, and availability.

  • Provide Level 2 support for Oracle infrastructure services across global locations.
  • Coordinate implementation of database environments and support Oracle deployments in various plants.
  • Monitor performance, availability, and overall health of Oracle database systems.
  • Manage incidents, service requests, alerts, and configurations related to Oracle systems.
  • Build and maintain monitoring and logging tools.
  • Document issues and resolution steps.
  • Escalate unresolved issues to appropriate teams.
  • Execute and optimize operational processes, review procedures and related documentation.
  • Contribute to global IT operations by implementing, upgrading, replacing, and extending Oracle database solutions.
  • Analyze trends and propose improvements or innovations for Oracle technologies.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent experience.
  • Fluent in English (written and spoken) – mandatory.
  • Strong experience in Oracle database administration, including:
    • Migrations and upgrades for large databases.
    • Cloning, patching, tuning, and performance optimization.
    • Oracle Data Guard, RMAN, exp/imp and Data Pump.
    • RAC (Real Application Clusters) and High Availability environments.
    • Oracle Enterprise Manager (OEM – Cloud/Grid Control).
    • Multitenant architecture (CDB and PDB).
  • Good understanding of server, network, and storage infrastructure.
  • Experience with virtualization technologies (on-prem and cloud).
  • Scripting knowledge (e.g., PowerShell, VBA, Python, Ansible, CI/CD, GIT) is a plus.
  • Familiarity with ITIL processes and information security standards in enterprise environments.
  • Experience in scalable, high-performance system design, including data modeling and integration.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills.
  • Ability to lead and mentor team members, adapting to evolving technologies.
  • Strong communication skills for interacting with international teams and stakeholders.
  • Customer-focused approach with initiative, collaboration, and accountability.
