The position of Vice President, Products and Solutions is crucial for driving business growth by ensuring positive cardholder experiences through strategic partnerships.
Key responsibilities include developing product roadmaps, managing existing product lines, conducting opportunity assessments, and providing design specifications for enhancements.
- Work closely with Issuers and Partners to create value-added experiences for cardholders.
- Grow Gross Dollar Volume (GDV) of Product and support new and increased issuance in both established and emerging markets.
- Identify strategic opportunities for business-building products and solutions that cater to customer needs.
- Stay abreast of industry trends to determine new needs and innovations that MasterCard may want to explore.
- Develop and implement programs and initiatives using the Go-To-Market process to increase card issuance.
- Evaluate market research and direct opportunity assessments on new ideas and concepts, communicating findings to stakeholders.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to develop strategy and enhancements of product offerings.
- Oversee planning, development, and design of product marketing strategies from concept to end-of-life cycle.
- Bachelor's degree in business or equivalent work experience; MBA desirable.
- 10 years related experience in product management, development, marketing, or business development within financial services or bankcard industry preferred.
- At least 5 years of management experience desirable.
- Experience developing and managing budgets.
- Effective communication, negotiation, project management, and matrix-management skills.
- Ability to manage multiple functions and lead change efforts.
- Business acumen to drive results.
- Self-motivated with a successful track record.
