Qualifications:
- Degree in Technical Computer Science or a related field
- Extensive experience in software and/or system development for embedded systems within the automotive industry
- Proficiency in Embedded C and Assembler (Cortex-M preferred)
- Familiarity with UML and other semi-formal description methodologies
- Experience with 'Enterprise Architect' or similar tools
- Knowledge of automotive bus systems (particularly LIN/CAN/FR/DSI3) and interfaces
- Understanding of electronic circuit design
- Experience with ASPICE methodology and requirement-driven development
- Proficient in tools such as DoxyGen, JIRA, Confluence, SVN
Desirable Skills:
- Knowledge of functional safety standards (ISO26262)
- Understanding of cybersecurity principles (ISO 21434)
- Experience with sensor technologies (ultrasonic applications, pressure measurement, filter concepts, and characteristic curve correction methods)
- Familiarity with light control and mixing methods/calibration (focus on RGB-LED)
Responsibilities:
- Design, optimize, and maintain hardware-related software architectures for embedded applications
- Engage in product-oriented development, testing, maintenance, and documentation of embedded technical software on 16/32-bit microcontrollers, both with and without real-time operating systems
- Develop and maintain development tools and demonstration software, providing support for commissioning and implementation in client projects
- Participate in requirements analysis, architecture design, and partitioning of hardware and software throughout the product design process.
This position offers a flexible remote/hybrid work arrangement.
