Water Meter Solutions Specialist

We are launching a new project to manufacture water meters and seeking talented professionals with expertise in solution architecture.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Short-term (First 3 Months)
    • Participate in solution design workshops with customers and Sagemcom Solution Architects to define functional, performance, and security specifications for the end-to-end solution, including information systems and smart meters, based on customer needs.
    • Manage day-to-day communication with customers regarding End-to-End functional use cases and relay questions to Sagemcom Solution Architects.
    • Lead technical discussions with customers during the RUN phase concerning functionalities and performance of the end-to-end solution.
    • Analyze customer needs, including change requests and operational environment.
  2. Long-term
    • Investigate and troubleshoot field issues related to solution functionalities and performance.

Required Skills:

  • Specification of complex distributed systems using Model-Based System Engineering (MBSE).
  • Capacity to define end-to-end functional use cases involving multiple interconnected sub-systems (devices and information systems).
  • Business analysis and client-side support in defining system specifications.
  • Communication protocols (TCP/IP stack).
  • Understanding challenges and constraints related to radio and cellular networks.
  • Awareness of challenges and constraints related to software server platforms (information systems, IT, cybersecurity, deployment).
  • Cybersecurity practices and considerations.
  • Collaboration with offshore R&D teams.
  • Strong analytical skills.
  • Facilitation skills and open-mindedness.
  • Strong client orientation.
