Job Summary

This position involves the execution of comprehensive testing of software applications across their entire life cycle. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of software development methodologies and be able to identify areas for improvement.


About the Role

The Software Quality Assurance (SQA) Specialist will be responsible for planning, executing, and reporting on test cases to ensure that software applications meet the required standards. This includes collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize testing needs, developing and maintaining test plans and scripts, and analyzing test results to inform product decisions.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute test plans and scripts to ensure software applications meet quality standards
  • Collaborate with development teams to identify and prioritize testing needs
  • Analyze test results and provide insights to inform product decisions
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of testing activities and results
  • Identify areas for process improvement and implement changes as needed

Requirements:
  • Strong knowledge of software development methodologies and quality assurance principles
  • Ability to analyze complex data and identify trends and patterns
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities
  • Basic proficiency in SQL and database management
  • Familiarity with agile project management methodologies
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience
  • At least 3 years of experience in software quality assurance or related field
