Purchasing Specialist
Key Responsibilities- Evaluate the performance of current and potential suppliers through high-quality relationships, considering factors such as cost, quality, delivery, features, technology, while ensuring long-term sustainability and managing risks.
- Lead, negotiate, and execute sourcing activities within defined project timelines and approved strategies, including the issuance of RFQs, negotiation of optimal cost levels, and contract negotiations and management.
- Monitor market and technology developments in commodities, addressing changes through strategic implementation to achieve optimal results for the organization.
- Collaborate with global counterparts and internal stakeholders to balance cost, quality, delivery, features, technology, and ensure long-term multifaceted sustainability and manage risk.
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as business administration or supply chain management.
- Experience in purchasing and procurement, preferably with expertise in MS Office, Excel, PowerPoint, Power BI, and SAP Ariba.
- Proficient computer skills, including knowledge of indirect and services categories, especially MRO, and negotiation skills to identify cost improvement opportunities.
- Advanced English language skills in written and spoken communication, enabling effective collaboration with global teams.
