Job Title: Comfort Companion

Job Description:

We are seeking compassionate individuals to join our team as Comfort Companions. In this role, you will have the opportunity to make a significant impact on the lives of our patients by providing comfort, support, and companionship during their final stages of life.

• Provide emotional support and companionship to patients
  
• Assist with activities such as reading, conversation, playing music, or simply being present to comfort the patient
  
• Accompany patients on walks or outings if appropriate and desired
  
• Adhere to hospice policies, procedures, and guidelines
  

About You:

To be successful in this role, you must possess a compassionate nature, excellent communication skills, empathy, and the ability to provide comfort in challenging situations. You should also be at least 18 years old, in good physical health, able to pass a background check, and have transportation.

Estimated Salary: $20/hour (estimated based on national averages for similar positions)
