Warehouse Optimization Specialist

Job Description: We are seeking a highly skilled Warehouse Process Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for organizing and managing warehousing operations, including reception, storage, order preparation, and shipments according to SPS principles. This involves measuring and analyzing warehousing performance (cost and service) and implementing corrective actions.

Main Activities: The key responsibilities of this role include:

• Defining the internal flow architecture based on the principles of SPS Global architecture
• Optimizing warehousing activities, including stocking strategy review based on FMR
• Kanban loops between inventory and workstations
• Definition of water spider loops
• Organisation for the evacuation of finished products and waste
• Ensuring reliability of Warehousing time definition
• Ensuring safety and ergonomics conditions in warehouse and material handling activities
• Define and involve the information system in line with the principles set out in MPH & Warehouse
• Adapt to a continuous improvement approach the MPH & WH in order to optimize safety, quality, lead time, cost

What You Will Bring: To succeed in this role, you will need strong project management skills with a focus on logistics and warehousing processes. Proficiency in change management and implementation methodologies is also essential. You should have the ability to influence and convince stakeholders effectively and have a customer-focused mindset with the capability to optimize supply chain management.

Skills and Qualifications: A Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field (or equivalent experience) is required. Previous knowledge or experience in warehousing operations and logistics management is also necessary. Proficiency in English (B1 level) for effective communication is essential. Experience with SAP ERP and MS Office tools is preferred.

Salary: £45,000 - £60,000 per annum, depending on experience.
