Job Title: Data Scientist

Overview

As a statistical analyst, you will play a pivotal role in leveraging advanced analytics and machine learning to deliver impactful solutions across critical business topics.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Contribute as a tech lead in digital projects by providing technical expertise and guidance.
  • Act as a subject matter expert in one other digital project by applying your knowledge of statistical models and data analysis techniques.
  • Support innovation activities as a lead contributor by researching and implementing new methodologies.
  • Partner with product managers to take data science requirements and assess data science components in roadmaps.
  • Work with data engineers to ensure data access for discovery and prepare data for model consumption.
  • Collaborate with ML engineers to industrialize solutions.
  • Drive the use of platform toolsets and focus on 'the art of the possible' demonstrations to the business as needed.
  • Communicate with stakeholders in service design, training, and knowledge transfer.
  • Build data-driven models and support large-scale experimentation.
  • Set KPIs and metrics to evaluate analytics solutions.
  • Refine requirements into modeling problems.
  • Influence product teams through data-based recommendations.
  • Research state-of-the-art methodologies.
  • Create documentation for learnings and knowledge transfer.

Qualifications

  • 4+ years' experience building commercial or supply chain solutions.
  • 4+ years working in a team to deliver analytic solutions, fluent in git and understanding of Jenkins, Docker.
  • 4+ years' experience in ETL and/or data wrangling techniques, fluent in SQL syntax.
  • 2+ years' experience in statistical/ML techniques for supervised (regression, classification) and unsupervised problems.
  • 2+ years' experience developing business problem-related statistical/ML modeling with industry tools in Python or Scala development.
  • Business storytelling and communicating data insights in a business consumable format, fluent in one visualization tool.
  • Strong communications and organizational skills with the ability to deal with ambiguity while juggling multiple priorities.
  • Experience with Azure cloud services is required.
