Senior Inventory Accountant

As a vital member of our finance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our inventory valuation. This involves analyzing and closing the average cost of our inventories, as well as preparing and reviewing inventory adjustments in our accounting module.
Key Responsibilities:- Performing thorough analysis to ensure accurate inventory valuations
- Closing and maintaining accurate records of average monthly costs
- Reviewing and preparing inventory adjustments
- Collaborating with finance, tax, and FP&A teams to maintain compliance with company procedures and policies
- Providing regular financial analysis reports regarding inventory performance
We are seeking an experienced accounting professional who has a strong background in retail market and financial department experience. Knowledge of SAP is beneficial but not essential. You will also need to have excellent computer skills, including SQL server, Power BI, and Excel, as well as proficiency in English and Spanish.
Requirements:- Minimum 3 years of experience in accounting or finance
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel
- Knowledge of SAP or similar software is desirable
