Job Title: Senior Network Engineer

The role of a senior network engineer is to design, implement and maintain the network infrastructure to ensure smooth and uninterrupted operations.

  • Main Responsibilities:
  • Design, implement and maintain the network infrastructure
  • Monitor network performance, troubleshoot and proactively resolve issues
  • Collaborate with security teams to ensure security of the network
  • Coordinate with ISPs on issues with network services
  • Maintain VoIP infrastructure and process change requests
  • Manage remote access and site-to-site VPN
  • Manage networking for virtualization clusters (Virtuozzo, oVirt)
  • Manage networking for cloud computing (Azure, GCP, AWS)

Requirements:

We are looking for an experienced network engineer who possesses a strong understanding of network design principles and telecommunications technologies.

  • Key Skills:
  • At least 5-7 years as a network engineer/administrator
  • Knowledge of network design principles and telecommunications technologies
  • Strong understanding of TCP/IP protocol stack
  • Knowledge of dynamic routing protocols (BGP, OSPF)
  • Experience with switches/routers/firewalls from various enterprise vendors
  • Experience with client-based remote access VPN
  • Experience with network monitoring, logging and alerting
  • Experience with IPAM (Netbox)
  • Experience with network virtualization (oVirt/Virtuozzo)
  • Experience with cloud networking (Azure/GCP/AWS)

Preferred Qualifications:

A Linux OS experience with knowledge in Linux Shell, DNS (BIND9), DHCP (KEA) and nftables/iptables is desired.

  • Bonus Skills:
  • Knowledge in BGP Anycast implementation
  • Experience in implementing/managing Teams Phone
  • Experience in IPv6 implementation/transition
  • NetOps experience (Git, Ansible, Python)
