About The Role
We seek a seasoned senior software architect to lead our engineering efforts. As a key member of our team, you'll oversee the development of a new AI-enabled software product from initial concept to launch. Your focus will be on delivering high-quality technical leadership across the software stack, working closely with cross-functional partners to ensure seamless integration and execution.
What You'll Do
Craft robust technical architectures – Design scalable and efficient software systems, driving innovation and excellence throughout the product lifecycle.
Oversee end-to-end feature development – Ensure cohesive flow from backend to frontend, driving successful product launches and user adoption.
Write technical specifications – Translate business needs into creative and technically robust solutions, empowering effective decision-making.
Engage with cross-functional partners – Collaborate closely with design, product, and stakeholders to drive project success and deliver value.
Drive engineering planning and processes - Participate in sprint planning, effort estimation, capacity planning, and release management, ensuring smooth delivery and continuous improvement.
Requirements:
5+ years of experience in software engineering, with at least 2 years in a senior role
Frontend experience: TypeScript, React
Backend experience: Python and FastAPI
Experience with relational databases (e.g. PostgreSQL, MySQL, etc)
Familiarity with CI/CD tools, especially Github Actions
Growth mindset: able to quickly learn new languages, frameworks, and more
Strong written and verbal communicator in English
Bonus skills:
Experience with GCP
Familiarity with document processing and OCR tools
Experience using AI tools for accelerated development (e.g. Cursor)
