Senior Reliability Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Reliability Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading efforts to enhance the security posture of our production environment.
The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of Linux and Windows operating systems, including patching, configuration management, and upgrade methodologies.
Strong knowledge of common security vulnerabilities, attack vectors, and remediation techniques is also essential.
The successful candidate will lead Operating System Upgrades, manage software dependencies, and remediate critical security findings.
Additionally, the candidate will drive the migration and integration of SaaS applications behind Okta for centralized identity and access management.
Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment are required.
Strong communication skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams are also necessary.
The ideal candidate will have experience with security tools like Crowdstrike, Rapid7, Devo, ArmorCode, and others.
Familiarity with security frameworks (e.g., NIST, ISO 27001) is a plus.
Experience with scripting languages like Python, Bash, or PowerShell, and infrastructure-as-code tools like Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation is desirable.
Certifications in cloud technologies (e.g., AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, Azure DevOps Engineer Expert) are also advantageous.
The successful candidate will be instrumental in standardizing our SaaS application security and collaborating cross-functionally to drive security initiatives.
They will also provide technical guidance and mentorship to other engineers on best practices for secure infrastructure and application development.
Process improvement and automation will be key aspects of the role.
The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of experience in infrastructure engineering, site reliability engineering, or a similar role with a strong focus on Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC).
Required skills include Linux and Windows operating system expertise, strong knowledge of common security vulnerabilities, and excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
Preferred qualifications include experience with security tools, familiarity with security frameworks, and certifications in cloud technologies.
