Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Front-End Developer to join our team. As a Senior Software Developer, you will be responsible for designing and developing front-end components and API services within the JavaScript ecosystem.

This is a hybrid role that includes development, test execution, documentation, and support of the Hanen Provisioning Platform. Responsibilities include opportunities to make an impact and showcase your skills and innovation in development, test execution, documentation, and support for components of the platform.

  • Main Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop front-end components and API services within the JavaScript ecosystem, utilizing React, Node.js and integrating with a diverse range of backend systems and data stores.
  • Collaborate with the UX Designer, development team, and business users in an Agile environment.
  • Provide support for and maintain existing legacy UI applications, ensuring their continued functionality and efficiency.
  • Provide support to deployment activities on Kubernetes workloads.
  • Implement and advocate for a robust testing strategy within the development cycle, including unit tests, integration tests, and end-to-end tests.
  • Guide and mentor junior developers, helping them to enhance their skills and understanding of front-end development.
  • Participate in technical decision-making, helping to choose the best solutions and technologies for front-end development.
  • Assist in planning and estimating front-end tasks and projects, ensuring timely and efficient delivery.
  • Promote continuous learning within the team, keeping up to date with the latest front-end technologies and industry trends.
  • Implement and advocate for DevOps practices within the development cycle.
Key Skills and Qualifications
  • At least five years' experience with front-end development.
  • Strong knowledge of JavaScript programming language.
  • At least 3 years of experience using React.js library. Knowledge of legacy class components is a bonus.
  • At least 3 years of experience working with Node.js.
  • Good knowledge of CSS preprocessors.
  • Experience with building API's (we are using expressjs library).
  • Experience with popular React.js state management libraries (we are using MobX).
  • Experience in deploying and supporting Kubernetes workloads.
  • Experience with Devops processes and build pipelines.
