About the Job

This is a critical role for an individual contributor and architectural leader within our organization. You will drive the technical vision of our platform, guiding how we design, build, and evolve scalable, reliable systems.

  • Lead cross-domain architecture efforts, shaping and evolving technical direction.
  • Design and build scalable, fault-tolerant systems to ensure outstanding performance and reliability.
  • Champion Domain-Driven Design practices and empower teams to structure software around clear domain boundaries.
  • Advocate for event-driven system design using tools like Kafka and SQS.

You will work closely with leaders to take ownership of complex technical challenges while mentoring engineers.

As part of this team, you will play a key role in transitioning from a monolithic application toward a modern, distributed, event-driven architecture.

About Your Skills and Qualifications

We think that this offer is for you if you have:

  • 9+ years of experience designing, building, and operating complex production systems.
  • Deep experience in Ruby/RoR programming languages.
  • Proficiency in multiple languages (i.e. JavaScript, Python, Go, Java).
  • Expertise with cloud platforms, containerization, and serverless architectures.
