We are seeking a skilled software developer to join our team as a consultant for a large US-based insurance client. The ideal candidate will have experience working with .NET C# and be able to design, develop, and maintain web applications.
About the Role
This position requires a capable individual contributor who can plan and build software systems, maintain existing codebases, and collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
Main Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain web applications using .NET Framework/.NET Core and C#
- Build responsive user interfaces using MVC architecture and React components
- Develop and optimize SQL Server databases, stored procedures, and queries
- Implement Entity Framework for data access layer and ORM functionality
- Apply dependency injection principles and design patterns for scalable application architecture
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions
- Participate in code reviews and maintain coding standards across the team
- Troubleshoot and resolve production issues in insurance applications and systems
