Aircraft Operations Specialist

About the Job:

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Aircraft Operations Specialist to join our team in Brazil. This individual will play a crucial role in supporting the development and commercial deployment of autonomous aircraft.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Travel to customer sites in Brazil to support flight testing, customer training, and product support
  • Ensure continuous operations at customer sites by identifying, troubleshooting, and fixing any arising issues
  • Recommend new features, improvements, design changes, and other enhancements to the design team
  • Conduct diverse fleet maintenance activities, including airframe preparation and testing
  • Serve as Pilot In Command or Ground Control Operator of experimental/developmental unmanned aircraft
  • Lead and/or participate in ground and flight test events as Test Conductor or Test Crew member
  • Manage complex logistics in support of flight operations
Requirements:Essential Skills:
  • Flying experience with fixed-wing UAVs/model aircraft or large multirotors
  • Ground control and mission planning software proficiency
  • Mechanical and electrical systems knowledge, assembly, and troubleshooting
  • Basic high-voltage safety knowledge and comfort working on 120 VDC, 20 ~ 30 kW systems
  • Linux, command-line usage, and Git familiarity
  • Portuguese and English language proficiency
  • Data visualization and analysis skills
  • Aircraft systems knowledge and manuals understanding
Detailed Requirements:
  • Experience visualizing and analyzing data logs
  • Independent and motivated, with an extremely strong work ethic; able to self-direct and manage time
  • Extreme attention to detail and thoroughness
  • Willingness to travel around the country and spend several weeks working independently
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
