Technical Support Specialist Job Description

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Support Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering end-to-end technical support in accordance with IT service level agreements.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Resolve technical issues promptly and efficiently, escalating as necessary to ensure timely resolution.
  • Support Microsoft virtual technologies including AVD, Nerdio, and FSLogix, ensuring seamless integration and optimal performance.
  • Document all reported incidents, troubleshooting steps, and resolutions in the incident management system, maintaining accurate and detailed records.
  • Contribute to knowledge base updates, providing valuable insights and best practices to enhance technical capabilities.
  • Adhere to established ITIL processes and procedures, driving continuous improvement and efficiency.
Requirements:
  • A minimum of one year's experience in customer-facing roles is essential.
  • Previous experience working with Microsoft Virtual technologies is mandatory, with expertise in AVD, Nerdio, and FSLogix.
  • Strong understanding of PC hardware, operating systems, and software is required, with excellent communication skills to articulate technical concepts effectively.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team, adapting to changing requirements and priorities.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, with a proactive approach to resolving complex technical issues.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Associate degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field, or equivalent work experience.
  • ITIL certification is highly desirable.
