Job Title: Network Operations Center Technician

We are seeking a skilled professional to join our team as a Network Operations Center Technician. This individual will be accountable for fault and performance management duties, including 1st level technical support and triage activities associated with all voice, data and video network elements and fiber transport facilities monitored by the NOC team.

Responsibilities:

  • Fault and Performance Management: Ensure prompt identification, isolation, and resolution of network faults and performance issues to minimize downtime and maintain optimal system performance.
  • Technical Support and Triage: Provide 1st level technical support and triage activities to troubleshoot and resolve issues related to network elements and fiber transport facilities.

Requirements:

  • Experience: 1-2+ years of experience working in a NOC environment, telecommunications, routing, switching, or similar environment.
  • Education and Certifications: Technical degree; relevant certifications or equivalent work experience acceptable.
  • Skills and Knowledge: Knowledge of ITIL best practices including Monitoring & Event Management, Incident Management, Change Management and Problem Management processes helpful.

Working Conditions:

This role requires fully onsite work, third shift.
