Job Role:

Service Technician

Are you a skilled technician looking for a challenging role in injection molding machines? We are seeking a Service Technician to join our team.

This is an exciting opportunity to work with state-of-the-art equipment and provide exceptional customer service. As a key member of our technical service department, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining injection molding machinery, linear robots, and related systems.

Responsibilities:

  1. Participate in ongoing training programs to enhance your technical skills and comprehensive service abilities.
  2. Formulate plans for subsidiary stock spare parts.
  3. Investigate and document machine quality issues, and propose solutions for improvement.
  4. Assist colleagues in completing on-site inventory of spare parts warehouse.
  5. Ensure adherence to all company and customer safety policies.
  6. Perform regular safety checks on equipment.
  7. Follow all company procedures.
  8. Demonstrate equipment use and provide customer training.
  9. Troubleshoot machine failures and performance issues, perform root cause analysis, and document findings.
  10. Order replacement parts as needed and document worn parts for future replacement.
  11. Respond promptly to customer problems via phone or onsite in a professional manner.
  12. Provide maintenance and operation recommendations or on-site service to customers.
  13. Document service calls, including key contacts and machine workloads.
  14. Offer after-sales service and technical training to customers and agents.

Requirements:

  • Educational Background: Bachelor degree in mechanical manufacturing, electric engineering, automation, or plastic materials, or equivalent.
  • Background: 2 years' experience in service work or technical support in the injection molding machine industry or related field.
  • Abilities:
    • Strong communication skills in English.
    • Ability to drive a car.
    • Extensive knowledge of injection molding machines, including controls, mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems.
    • Proficiency in basic Microsoft Office software, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
    • Ability to understand mechanical drawings, electrical, and hydraulic schematics.
