Key Responsibilities- Policy Development and Compliance
Develop and update policies and procedures to ensure compliance with corporate and local regulations.
HR Operations and AdministrationLead HR-related matters, including compensation, benefits, hiring, onboarding, separation, performance management, and employee relations.
Talent Management and DevelopmentPartner with staff to administer benefits, pay structure, and employee information. Drive talent management processes, including job descriptions, market research, and succession planning.
Employee Engagement and CommunicationExecute HR strategic programs, such as employee engagement surveys, rewards, and recognition programs.
Workplace Culture and EnvironmentEncourage a collaborative work environment, acknowledge staff contributions, and develop strategies to enhance synergies between staff and international partners.
Employee Relations and Conflict ResolutionRespond to and investigate employee grievances or conflicts, providing training and tools to managers and employees.
Contract Administration and Talent AcquisitionWork with US-based and in-country legal advisers to prepare and update employee agreements and contracts. Secure needed talent, including job postings, interviews, and reference checks.
Requirements- Education and Experience
BA/BS degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, or a relevant field. Minimum 10 years of experience as an HR Business Partner or a Master's degree with 7 years of relevant experience.
Skills and KnowledgeStrong background in a manufacturing environment, knowledge of labor laws, collective bargaining, and contract administration. Proven record of success in developing and maintaining effective working relationships and partnerships.
CompetenciesAbility to undertake and manage HR-related projects, strategic thinking skills, and ability to leverage data and insights to drive action. Strong written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills.
