Role Summary:

As a Tax Analyst, you will be responsible for carrying out tax classification, generating and checking inflows and outflows of goods and services, and preparing tax calculations and collections to comply with legislation and meet deadlines for closing the fiscal area.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide support and advice on tax procedures and current legislation, analyzing improvement processes and suggesting efficient and productive work.
  • Analyze taxes derived from operations, verifying their nature and reconciling and analyzing accounting accounts pertinent to the fiscal area.
  • Ensure compliance with Quality, Safety, Occupational Health, and Environment policies, guaranteeing that requirements and standards of the area correspond to the system adopted by the company.
  • Pay taxes according to procedure.
  • Stay up-to-date on current federal, state, and municipal tax laws to guide other areas regarding fiscal upgrades and efficiency in their operations.
  • Prepare tax calculations related to tax movements (ICMS, IPI, ISS, PIS, COFINS, and others).
  • Prepare and issue tax and tax returns according to deadlines (DMA, DMD, SINTEGRA, DCTF, DACOM, DIRF, DIPJ, etc.).

Requirements:

  • A degree in a related field.
  • 1-2 years of working experience or experience in a similar role is an advantage but not essential.
  • Willingness to relocate to the job location.
