Amazon is seeking a highly skilled Compliance Manager to join our team in Brazil. As a key member of our compliance team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing compliance strategies and policies that balance regulatory requirements with business enablement.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand legal impact and define compliance requirements for new product initiatives.
  • Monitor regulatory developments and educate management on compliance risks, guiding teams in the development of a risk-based response.
  • Manage examination and external audit processes, maintaining productive relationships with external assessors.
  • Promote a culture of compliance, engaging with business teams to educate on compliance concerns and influence product design.
  • Manage the day-to-day functions of the compliance program, including regulatory reporting and oversight of business-owned controls.
Requirements:
  • BA/BS or equivalent in a relevant field.
  • Experience in financial services risk management or internal control functions within a complex international organization.
  • Strong analytical skills and comfort with data, including the ability to structure analyses and interpret data.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to translate complex issues for technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Working knowledge of AML, Sanctions, and KYC related laws in Brazil.
  • Advanced English skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Prior experience in payments or e-commerce.
  • Professional certification such as CAMS, CRCM, or CRP.
