Position Overview:

The successful candidate will work primarily with React Native for the frontend and AWS/GCP for the backend, integrating Supabase for user authentication and management. Essential skills include Expo and EAS for deploying code to app stores.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop responsive mobile applications using React Native and Expo, focusing on performance, responsiveness, and design.
  • Design and implement robust backend services using AWS or GCP for cloud infrastructure, data storage, and application logic.
  • Implement and integrate Supabase for user authentication, database management, and real-time data syncing.
  • Design, implement, and maintain RESTful APIs for communication between the frontend and backend.
  • Use Expo to add native features to mobile apps and leverage EAS (Expo Application Services) for deployment.
  • Collaborate with UX/UI designers, product managers, and other developers to create innovative solutions.
  • Ensure high performance, scalability, and security for all applications, troubleshooting and debugging as needed.
  • Manage cloud resources and services using AWS or GCP, ensuring cost efficiency, reliability, and scalability.
  • Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code adhering to industry best practices and coding standards.
Required Skills & Experience:
  • Proven experience with React Native and Expo for building cross-platform mobile applications.
  • Expertise in AWS and/or GCP, including cloud infrastructure, serverless architectures, and database management.
  • Experience with Supabase for user authentication, management, and real-time data features.
  • Strong proficiency in JavaScript, including modern ES6+ features.
  • Familiarity with SQL (PostgreSQL preferred) and NoSQL databases.
  • Experience with building, consuming, and maintaining RESTful APIs.
  • Familiarity with Expo framework for adding native features to apps and EAS (Expo Application Services) for deploying code to the app store.
  • Proficient with Git for version control and collaboration.
  • Strong analytical and debugging skills with the ability to tackle complex technical challenges.
