Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced QA Automation Lead to modernize our customer-facing insurance platforms and internal claims processing systems.
This role is perfect for individuals who excel in fast-paced environments, lead teams to success, and strike a balance between structure and flexibility to achieve goals.
The ideal candidate will oversee a team of three QA Automation Engineers and report directly to the Director of Engineering.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and mentor a team of three QA Automation Engineers.
- Design, implement, and maintain robust test automation frameworks.
- Collaborate closely with DevOps and development teams for CI/CD test integration.
- Ensure quality standards and best practices are upheld throughout the SDLC.
- Analyze test results and advocate for continuous improvements in test coverage and processes.
- Contribute to test planning, estimation, and overall testing strategy.
Qualifications:
- Must-Have Skills:
- Minimum 7 years of experience in QA, 2 years as a lead.
- Experience with Playwright (JavaScript or TypeScript).
- Strong CI/CD experience (preferably with GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or Azure DevOps).
- Deep knowledge of testing methodologies and automation best practices.
- Experience with RESTful API testing.
- Nice-To-Have Skills:
- Exposure to cloud platforms (Azure).
- Familiarity with containerization tools (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Experience with performance testing tools (e.g., k6, Gatling).
- Knowledge of security and accessibility testing.
