Chief Trading Platform Architect

Our organization is seeking a seasoned Java developer to spearhead the development of a cutting-edge trading platform. This innovative project involves creating a comprehensive front-office system for traders, encompassing pre-trade checks and analysis, intra-day positions management, order management and routing, risks and limits management, and reports of trading activities. Additionally, the platform will integrate with FIX connectivity and market data providers such as Bloomberg B-pipe.
We require an experienced Senior Java Developer to collaborate closely with our investment and trading teams to translate their technical requirements into effective solutions.
Responsibilities:- Partner with the broader technology team to design and implement a unified, scalable platform for harnessing real-time and historical market data and analytics.
- Work as a full-stack technologist, developing front-to-back solutions that leverage our data platforms, microservices architecture, UI frameworks, and DevOps toolchain.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree from a reputable CS, Math, Physics, or Finance program.
- Experience in Hedge Fund or Broker companies.
- Strong Java skills - Spring Boot, REST, JDBC, Multi-threading, memory management.
- Experience working with streaming data using Kafka or other messaging queue platforms.
- Basic database and SQL skills - ability to understand and write complex SQL, MySQL, MEMSQL / Singlestore database experience is a plus.
- Understanding of Data Structures/Algorithms and enthusiasm for programming.
- Experience working with large and complex data sets.
