Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Quality Assurance Engineer to join our team. As a Senior Quality Assurance Engineer, you will be responsible for coordinating QA resources for IT projects, assisting in and implementing the test strategy, reviewing requirements as testable, and developing test cases supporting the approved test strategy.
Key Responsibilities
- Test Strategy Development
Develop and implement test strategies that ensure thorough coverage of new features and functionality.
Test Case DevelopmentCreate and execute test scenarios and detailed test cases that clearly articulate test objectives, steps, and expected results.
Defect TrackingEnsure that the defect tracking system is appropriately updated daily and run reports to provide insight into trends and status of team activities.
CollaborationCollaborate closely with development teams to ensure test cases and plans are being implemented.
Project ManagementDrive testing efforts of multiple projects simultaneously.
Requirements
- Education
BS in Computer Science, Engineering discipline, or equivalent experience.
Experience5+ years of Quality Assurance / Testing experience.
Technical Skills5+ years of SQL experience.
Additional Requirements5+ years of data validation experience.
Software Skills5+ years of experience with ADO/JIRA and similar defect-tracking systems.
Testing ExperienceREST/JSON/XML Testing (Experience with SoapUI).
Desirable ExperienceMortgage Experience desired and experience with Empower LOS would be ideal.
